The LIFT App introduces firstly to the Geo-localization of the farms included in the LIFT Cluster.

The exact farm localization is Geo-referenced.

The farms are pinpointed on an interactive map.

The LIFT Index is the tool for assessing the sustainable growth of the LIFT coffee farmers.

The LIFT Index is built on qualitative and quantitative farm data such as:

Farmer details, farmer’s family details, sustainability certification, location, altitude, rainfalls, type and number of hand labor, minimum salary, presence of child labor, water source presence and protection, high conservation value areas on the farm, depth of soil, soil type, total area, total coffee area, other areas size and type, farm map, farm management plan, first aid kit, soil and foliage analysis, water analysis, fertilization plan details, personal protective equipment, labor contracts, non-discrimination policies, pest and weed control plans, presence and description of existing farm infrastructure, shading type and density, coffee planting density, age of the plantation, production forecast, accumulated production, production costs, pruning system, wet mill type, water re-circulation, water consumption, energy type.

The user can access a dashboard where it is possible to see the Cluster’s performance on each LIFT best practice and LIFT Index in benchmark with the national LIFT performance.

The user can also access all the individual farmer profiles to get additional information related to the farms and the households.

The Index Icon brings the user to the LIFT Index area of each farm, where it is also possible to compare the farmer’s performance with the rest of the Cluster and with the Goal set by LIFT.

The user can also access more photos of the farm and can send messages to the technical assistance team to interact more.
